JOANNE QUEVEDO, LMSW

Making the choice to engage in counseling can be an intimidating experience. I believe that a major obstacle to seeking the support of a trained therapist is the fear of being told there is something wrong with you when in reality, life can be overwhelming and we frequently find ourselves struggling with low self-esteem leading to anxiety and depression. By taking a non-pathologizing approach, I am able to provide a safe environment where you will feel welcome and heard regardless of your stage of life . This can be scary if you are 50+ and entering therapy for the first time; I would love to collaborate with you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. I also specialize in group and individual therapy for victims of domestic violence covering everything from safety planning to trauma informed care and interpersonal therapy.
